St. Ignatius Parish Restoration
This project holds a special place in my heart. As a member of the St. Ignatius Parish community, it was a true honor to collaborate with the parish staff—especially Father Greg—to document the final stages of our church’s remarkable restoration.
The work, carried out by Plant Construction Company, involved extensive interior renovations, crucial MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) and accessibility upgrades, and a much-needed exterior facelift to the iconic 80,000-square-foot building in San Francisco.
As showcased in the images, 2024 saw the careful restoration of numerous architectural details that define the beauty of St. Ignatius. These include the finials crowning the spires, intricate decorative moldings and dentils, the elegant Corinthian capitals topping the columns, and ornate bands encircling the base of the dome, among many others.
Capturing the transformation of this beloved space was more than a professional assignment—it was a privilege and a personal joy.
